The theme of this issue is magnetizing. In our invitation for this issue we invited potential submitters to consider how the quality of magnetizing arises in their experience of art and everyday life. We encouraged examples of magnetizing as a selfless action — heightening and addressing what might otherwise remain invisible or unnoticed — as well as its potential selfish quality — seducing or drawing in things to inflate importance or become the center of attention for selfish reasons.
